WestJet Q3 adjusted profit misses analyst expectations, revenue passes $1B

WestJet Airlines says its net income excluding losses from the sale of old aircraft surged 31 per cent to a record $85.4 million in the third quarter. The Calgary-based airline said it earned 66 cents per diluted share in adjusted profits in the quarter ended Sept.
