What's it worth to be added to the Standard & Poor's 500 Index? Quite a lot, as it turned out for American Airlines Group Inc. shareholders this week. The market value of American's shares climbed nearly $4 billion since S&P Dow Jones Indices announced after Monday's market close that the parent of American Airlines Inc. and US Airways Inc. would join the S&P 500.
