Whole Foods announces Newport News opening date

Whole Foods will make its long-anticipated debut at the Marketplace at Tech Center development in Newport News on Nov. 4, according to company spokeswoman Katie Malloy. When it opens, Whole Foods Market Newport News, located at 12080 Jefferson Ave., will be the 12th store in Virginia and 49th store for the mid-Atlantic region, joining the 431 stores that are currently open worldwide.
