AutoZone reported its fiscal Q3 earnings results on May 26. On the face of it, the numbers weren't bad. Sales rose 6.5%, same-store sales inched up 2.3%, net income increased 8.4%, and diluted EPS jumped 13.1% thanks to stock buybacks.
