Designed for sites with medium to low wind conditions (~7.5 m/sec) in North and South America, SWT-2.3-120 employs 120 m rotor with 59 m, aeroelastically tailored, glass-fiber reinforced epoxy blades. This 3-bladed, horizontal axis, 2.3 MW wind turbine, featuring 11,300 m² swept area, has tower with hub height of 80 or 92.4 m. Enclosed by square steel canopy designed to maximize protection of internals, ergonomically optimized nacelle facilitates maintenance via component accessibility.
