With high winds in the area, NV Energy said on Monday that it is prepared to respond to power-related emergencies as they occur. "During the wind storm, NV Energy will have multiple crews and troublemen in the field quickly responding to situations to help keep customers safe and to restore power," the utility said in a statement.
