Using Model bq500212A, designers can develop Qi-compliant wireless charge pads or stations that can operate from USB port or 5 V power adapter. Device's standby mode ensures less than 100 mW of standby power with no receiver on pad and less than 50 mW once receiver has finished charging. Housed in 48-pin, 7 x 7 mm QFN package, Model bq500212A features hybrid capacitor scheme, which uses combination of X7R and COG capacitors instead of relying only on COG capacitors.
