Wirewound Resistors offer 12 kV surge withstanding capability.

2013-02-04 14:28:00| Industrial Newsroom - All News for Today

Comprised of axial cemented wirewound resistors, Z300-C series limits in-rush currents during high voltage surges. Voltage surge withstand capabilities reach up to 12 kV per IEC 61000-4-5 (1.2 µsec/50 µsec), and power ratings range from 1–6 W at 40°C ambient and 0.9–5.4 W at 70°C. Along with resistance from 0.15 Ω to 10 kΩ, these RoHS-compliant devices feature resistance tolerances of ±5% and ±10%, TCR of ±200 ppm/K (±400 ppm/K below 1 Ω), non-flammable cement coatings, and ceramic cores.
