Woodside to take $US1b hit as oil sinks

2016-01-21 14:45:37| Energy - Topix.net

Woodside Petroleum expects to take a hit of up to $US1.2 billion as it writes down the value of its energy assets following the slump in oil prices. Following a review, the company expects to take an impairment charge of $US1 billion to $US1.2 billion against its asset values in full year 2015 to reflect the lower short-term and long-term oil price assumptions.
