Local AM Andrew RT Davies has described the news as 'a huge boost for Wales' and 'a massive vote of confidence' Maintenance work on British Airways ' new generation of fuel-efficient aircraft will take place at their base near Cardiff Airport . The company's executive chairman Keith Williams said work on the new Boeing 787 Dreamliner, which uses 20% less fuel than similarly sized aircraft, will be carried out in the Vale of Glamorgan.
