Women in agriculture who would like to take a more active role in business operations may sign up for Annie's Project, a multi-part risk-management course offered by the Ohio State University Extension. The six-week workshop, sponsored by the OSU offices for Lucas and Henry counties, will be held at The Andersons Activities Building in Maumee on consecutive Mondays, starting Feb. 9, from 5:30 to 9 p.m. The program is geared toward strengthening women's roles in modern farm enterprises, but also is applicable to other aspects of agriculture and small business.
