Worthington City Council Budget work starts debate over bureau

The Worthington City Council meeting on Monday, Nov. 9, got heated when councilman David Norstrom took an opportunity to suggest the Convention and Visitors Bureau of Worthington be abolished. The group, led by Board President Bill Purpura and Treasurer Michael Clevenger, was in front of the council to present its annual request for funding.
