Xcel Energy Working To Restore Power To Communities Hit By Wind Storm

Crews repairing Xcel Energy's electricity grid, which was damaged by a wind storm early today are working to restore power. Approximately 8,000 customers in Garretson, Sioux Falls, Crooks, Dell Rapids and other communities in South Dakota and southwestern Minnesota experienced outages when the storm hit early this morning.
