Xiaomi to open storefronts in US, UK, France, Germany

(Telecompaper) Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi announced plans to open its own shops in the US, UK, France and Germany. A beta test will allow residents of the four countries to shop on the company's mi.com website and purchase accessories like the 5000mAh and 10400mAh Mi power banks, Mi Band and Mi Headphones. Limited quantities will be available from 19 May for purchase. Customers can register early on the site before sales start.
