Manufactured using Hot Isostatic Pressing for optimized clarity, hardness, and scratch resistance, ZnS Optics are suited for single aperture, multi-spectral systems that must perform over broad wavelength spectrum of 0.4–12 microns. Sizes range from 0.5–3.0 in. OD or diagonal with typical tolerances of ±0.001 to ±0.005 in. and thickness to ±0.002 in. Available as lenses and windows in plano-convex, -concave, meniscus, and flat configurations, optics are used in military applications.
