Use of built-in 2X extender enables focal length on telephoto end to be extended to 200 mm. Large-diameter aspheric elements achieve sharpness at center as well as all corners for optimal edge-to-edge image quality. In addition to 16-bit encoders, lens includes built-in digital servodrive units for zooming and focusing.
