Grocery shopping options in the Magic City are getting more diverse, but heavyweights like Walmart and Publix still hold the lion's share of the local grocery market. In fiscal year 2013, Walmart and Publix accounted for more than 56 percent of total sales among grocers in a metro area covering 102 supermarkets, 169 dollar stores, 51 mass merchandisers, and five warehouse clubs.
