Gilead Chief Scientific Officer Norbert Bischofberger: Combination treatment moves company one step closer to an all-oral cure for hepatitis C. Gilead Sciences Inc. asked U.S. regulators Monday to approve what could be the first oral treatment for most hepatitis C patients.
