After a very long wait indeed, the iPhone 5 has been jailbroken. The jailbreak, dubbed Evasi0n, works with all iPhones, iPads, and iPods running iOS 6 or 6.1, and can be jailbroken from Windows, Mac, and Linux. This is an untethered, full jailbreak that will allow you to install Cydia (or anything else your heart desires) on your iPhone.
