Escaped prisoner from Florida captured at Abercrombie & Fitch store in NYC

The Florida Department of Law Enforcement says an inmate who escaped from a West Palm Beach-area prison has been captured in New York City. The Palm Beach Post reports New York City police arrested 53-year-old Philip Peletz as he tried to leave an Abercrombie & Fitch store Aug. 21 with more than $1,400 in merchandise.

Model is arraigned in NYC over fight with his friend's dad

A male model who was romantically linked to Lindsay Lohan and Miley Cyrus was arraigned Monday for allegedly slugging a pal's father over a piece of pricey artwork. Morgan O'Connor, 20, the former face of Polo Ralph Lauren , was released without bail after his arraignment for allegedly assaulting Timothy Goodwin over a piece of street art July 2. O'Connor was slapped with a misdemeanor criminal complaint containing assault, attempted assault and harassment charges.
