Phillipsburg Town Council members unanimously approved an agreement with Opus Investment Group to redevelop the entire Phillipsburg section of the Ingersoll Rand property. "This is the biggest thing I think that's happened in Phillipsburg in 100 years," Mayor Harry L. Wyant Jr said.

Phillipsburg Council has officially appointed Opus Investment Group, Medford, N.J., to resurrect Commerce Park into a vibrant piece of property. At Tuesday evening's meeting, council unanimously approved Opus as the redeveloper of the formerly owned Ingersoll Rand property, as well as approved a redevelopment agreement with Opus.
