Available in PVC, CPVC, and GFPP materials and in sizes from 2–12 in., BYV Series features hand lever with 72 spline interlock mechanism, allowing for 19 stopping positions at every 5°. Hand lever material incorporates UV inhibitor for outdoor applications. BYV also has one-piece 316 SS stem with threaded gland for positive stem retention. Rated for pressures up to 150 psi, valve provides reinforced lug holes and can be ordered with overmolded 316 SS lugs for dead end service or isolation needs. Unit has thermoplastic 12-position trigger-type handle, plastic stem bushings for smooth operation, and FDA-conforming EPDM seal to withstand elevated temperatures and chemical attack. ID surface finish meets or exceeds 3A requirements. Operating from 15–215°F with pressure rating of 145 psi at 68°F, valve is especially suited for beer and wine industries.
