Ashford Inc. today announced that it requested that a Texas state court issue an injunction to prevent Sessa Capital from paying redemption requests made by its investors. The Company filed a lawsuit claiming tortious interference, together with additional claims including conspiracy, alleging monetary damages potentially exceeding $200 million as well as other non-monetary relief against Sessa and its purported director nominees John E. Petry, Philip B. Livingston, Lawrence A. Cunningham, Daniel B. Silvers, and Chris D. Wheeler on March 23, 2016.

Reuters: A Japanese court on Wednesday issued an injunction to halt operations at Kansai Electric Power's Takahama No.3 and No.4 nuclear reactors, the operator said, siding with local residents worried about the safety of the plant. The order, by the Otsu District Court, will take immediate effect and lead to the shutdown of Takahama No.3 reactor, which restarted in late January, Jiji news agency said. TransCanada taken aback by Quebec injunction over Energy East pipeline

A TransCanada spokesman says the company was taken aback when the Quebec government announced it's planning legal action over the Energy East pipeline. Tim Duboyce says the Calgary-based firm believed issues surrounding the province's review of the cross-Canada oil pipeline had long been resolved.
