Judge denies injunction against former Southbridge official in Casella case

A Worcester Superior Court judge has denied resident John Pulawski's request for a preliminary injunction against former interim Town Manager Kevin E. Paicos, referring to it as a moot issue after Mr. Paicos yielded his role. Mr. Pulawski, citing the town's home-rule charter, asserted that acting town managers may only serve for one year and that Mr. Paicos violated the rule by serving for 14 months.
