Featuring scalable, distributed control architecture, 16-port IO-Link Master supports high I/O density applications. If sensor/actuator hubs are connected, 256 I/O signals can be processed. When Master is combined with expansion I/O hubs, up to 480 I/O signals can be processed. Each IO-Link port can transmit up to 32 bytes of process data in cyclical form. At same time, parameter or diagnostic data can be transmitted acyclically at each port. Total capacity is 1,024 bytes of process data.
