(Telecompaper) Swiss operator Salt has posted Q1 total revenue excluding MTR of CHF 230.2 million, which is down by 1.2 percent year-on-year, but up 1.8 percent year-on-year excluding the Coop and UPC Switzerland.

Swisscom posts stable revenue in 2018, sees fall in 2019

(Telecompaper) Swisscom's net revenues in 2018 amounted to CHF 11.71 billion, a slight increase of 0.4 percent year-on-year and better than its outlook for flat revenues. Annual EBITDA fell 1.9 percent to CHF 4.21 billion, in line with guidance, and the EBITDA margin was down from 36.8 percent in 2017 to 36.0 percent in 2018. For 2019, Swisscom expects net revenue to drop to around CHF 11.4 billion, EBITDA to improve to over CHF 4.3 billion and capital expenditure of around CHF 2.3 billion.

AT&T posts 4% fall in domestic telco revenues in Q4

(Telecompaper) AT&T reported a further fall in revenues from its communications business in the fourth quarter, as it lost customers across postpaid mobile, fixed voice and TV activities in the past year. Operating profit still improved, thanks to cost reductions, and overall group results were up following the growth at WarnerMedia and acquisitions. AT&T confirmed its outlook for 2019, as it looks to use the content and advertising business to restore growth in its telecom operations.
