When is being fat a legitimate political issue? Ever? Even theoretically? Is it ever right for a skinny person to get mouthy about other people being fat? I winced, I admit, when I read that Dallas City Council member Scott Griggs was talking about people at City Hall being too tubby. In Stephen Young's piece here the other day, Griggs was quoted saying, "We've heard the reports, we're the most obese city staff in the United States."
