ROLE FUNCTION Document Management Specialist mfd MUSTHAVE SKILLS Minimum one year of experience in a document management, archivist, or librarian role Knowledge and understanding of Documentation Management principles Practical experience in the management of technical documents, preferably in an IT or engineering sector, in support to a large set of users Practical experience in applying information, documentation or configuration management processes Practical experience in the use of tools for electronic documentation, information or configuration management, electronic workflow implementing document management processes Proficient knowledge of use of MS Office, Adobe Acrobat, and related templates, layout and formatting NICETOHAVE SKILLS Additional qualifications or education in InformationDocumentation Management would be advantageous. Excellent organisational, interpersonal and communication skills, willingness to learn, able to work as part of a team and displaying a strong customeroriented approach to interact with our client personnel. TASK Ensure that documentation conforms to the applicable processes, procedures and working practices Control the release and publication of documents items Perform standard Documentation Management activities such as o Receipt and dispatch of incoming and outgoing documentation o Registration of documents and correspondence items in the computerised DM Tool in conformance with agreed procedures and working practices o Maintenance of the current electronic filing system of documents generated within imported into the Documentation Management tool, including setup and updates of documentation trees. Promote awareness and use of documentation management plans and working practices within the supported departments Provide contribution to the Configuration Management Team to ensure configurationcontrolled baseline documents items are established and maintained Support testing of enhancements to our client Documentation Management tools Provision of status lists upon request Maintain distribution lists for the dispatch of documentation within our client and to third parties outside of our client GOOD TO KNOW BEGIN 15.10.2019 LOCATION Darmstadt, Germany CONTRACT fixed term contract DEADLINE 09.09.2019
