Because of reduced pressure due to a line break on Highway 7 in Pollok, Texas, the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality has required our water system, Pollok-Redtown WSC, to notify customers of the need to boil their water prior to consumption. To ensure destruction of all harmful bacteria and microbes, water, cooking, and making ice should be boiled and cooled prior to use.

Boil water notice lifted for city of Van

The Texas Commission on Environmental Quality lifted a boil water notice for the city of Van on Tuesday. The TCEQ has cleared the city for normal water usage after test results showed the water no longer required boiling, according to city officials.
