Due to conditions which have occurred recently in the water system, the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality has required the system, to notify all the customers involved in the repair area to boil their water prior to consumption .The area included in this boil water notice includes the intersection of Farm-to-Market Road 2138 and County Road 1814 - continue west on County Road 1814 up to and around to include county roads 3111, 3114, 1804, 1813, 1814, 1815, 1816, and 3114. Also from the intersections of County Road 3114 and Farm-to-Market Road 747 South - continue south of Farm-to-Market 747 and including County Roads 1905, 1905A, 1902 and 1812.

Boil water notice issued for Crosbyton

Due to reduced pressure, the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality has required our water system, the City of Crosbyton to notify customers of the need to boil their water prior to consumption. To ensure destruction of all harmful bacteria and other microbes, water for drinking, cooking and making ice should be boiled and cooled prior to use.

Amarillo water notice leaves residents with questions

Area residents are wondering about their water after many Amarillo and some Canyon residents received a letter from the City of Amarillo with a warning. The city released a required document by the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality explaining an error at the Osage Water Treatment Plant in Amarillo, dealing with a monitoring violation when one out of the eight filters failed to report correct readings of turbidity levels.

Officials: Notice about water testing frequency, not quality

Tyler residents received a letter last week about city tap water, but officials said the notice regards the frequency of water testing, not the quality of water. The notice, required by the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality, stated the city has not completed all mandatory lead and copper testing since 2012, when it moved from being required to test the water every three years to annually.

Boil water notice rescinded for Jacksonville residents

Residents were being asked to boil water after the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality required Craft-Turney Water Supply to notify customers of repairs to water lines. The notice applied to residences from the intersection of FM 22 south and CR 1517, continuing east on FM 22, including the north end of County Road 1514 up to the intersection of CR 1515.
