Hollywood-Grant Park Sewer and Stormwater Project

Environmental Services is designing a project in the Hollywood, Grant Park and Rose City Park neighborhoods to repair the public sewer system and to reduce stormwater flow into the system. The Hollywood-Grant Park Sewer and Stormwater Project will repair or replace about 21,300 feet of public sewer pipes that are on average 100 years old and failing due to age.

NE Columbia Blvd and NE 63rd Ave Sewer and Stormwater Project: Proposed Schedule Includes Weekend Work

Environmental Services is designing a project to install a stormwater infiltration system along NE Columbia Boulevard between NE 60th and NE 63rd avenues. The project will install a vault in Columbia Boulevard at 63rd Avenue that will filter sediment and pollutants from stormwater runoff discharged through an outfall pipe into the Columbia Slough. The work also includes replacing 175 feet of public sewer pipe in Columbia west of 63rd.

Inner NE Sewer Extension Construction Update: September 9, 2014

As part of the City of Portlands effort to provide properties with sewer connections that comply with city code, Environmental Services continues construction on the Inner NE Sewer Extension project. This project will also help protect public health, property, and the environment by increasing the capacity of the public sewer system, reducing the potential for basement backups, and reducing the likelihood of emergency maintenance work in the future.
