Construction continues on an Environmental Services project in inner southeast Portland to repair the deep, large-diameter Southeast Interceptor sewer line that is deteriorating due to age. The repairs will extend the life of the sewer and protect public health, water quality, and the environment.

Tabor Sewer Repair Project Construction Update: October 10, 2017

Environmental Services continues construction on the Tabor Sewer Repair Project. This project will replace and repair about 17,000 feet of public sewer pipes in southeast and northeast Portland. Many of these pipes are 60 to 104 years old. This project will protect water quality, public health and the environment. The Tabor Sewer Repair project will continue through the fall of this year.

Richmond-South Tabor Sewer Repair Project Construction Update: October 11, 2017

Environmental Services continues construction on the Richmond-South Tabor Sewer Repair Project. The project will repair or replace over 10,300 feet (2 miles) of public sewer pipes in your neighborhood that are on average 90 years old and in deteriorating condition. This work will also include repairing or adding 2,500 feet of service connections between properties and the public sewer.

Mt. Scott-Arleta and Woodstock Sewer Repair Project: October 10, 2017

Environmental Services continues construction on a project to repair or replace approximately 5,600 feet, or about one mile, of public sewer pipes in the Mt. Scott-Arleta and Woodstock neighborhoods. Most of the sewer pipes are more than 85 years old and are deteriorating due to age. The project will protect the public and the environment by reducing the possibility of sewage releases to homes, businesses and streets.
