Hydraulic Institute (HI) will host its 2016 Annual Conference in Tucson, AZ from February 11–15, 2016. In addition to professionals associated with pump and supplier companies throughout North America and Europe, conference will be open to HI Industry Partners, Academic Partners, and Media Partners. Events will include Extended Motor Product Labeling Initiative, industry briefings, educational/general sessions, bi-annual CEO Roundtable, and Board Meetings.

(Telecompaper) The US has announced a new cyber task force to counter online propaganda, Reuters reported, saying the move is part of the government's push to crack down on the use of the internet by jihadists. White House chief of staff Denis McDonough led a high-level government delegation that held talks with representatives from some of the country's biggest technology companies, including Apple CEO Tim Cook. Facebook took part as did Twitter, Microsoft, Yahoo and LinkedIn.
