Fairfield commission to consider industrial buildings plan south of Budweiser plant

A public hearing will occur Wednesday on plans to develop two 430,500-square-foot industrial buildings on 43 acres along Cordelia Road south of the Anheuser-Busch plant - a project the city says will not have a significant effect on the environment. The concrete tilt-up buildings will be up to 45 feet tall and 460 parking spaces will be part of the proposed development.

IMO approves Australias South West Coral Sea protection plan

The International Maritime Organization (IMO) has approved the Australian Government's proposed extension of the Great Barrier Reef and Torres Strait Particularly Sensitive Sea Area (PSSA) in order to preserve the South West Coral Sea.
