Sound Absorbing Acoustic Ceiling Panels feature 0.95 NRC.

2015-02-26 14:31:38| Industrial Newsroom - All News for Today

With Noise Reduction Coefficient (NRC) up to 0.95 and Articulation Class (AC) rating of 190, Rockfon® Sonar™ stone wool ceiling panels improve acoustics in open-plan offices and other commercial interiors while also supporting speech privacy. White surface delivers 0.85 LR (light reflectance), and product exhibits dimensional stability at up to 100% RH. At 1 in. thick, panels install in 9/16 and 15/16 in. ceiling suspension systems or can be directly applied to sound-reflecting surface.

Microphone Preamplifier allows acoustic testing in tight spaces.

2015-02-12 14:31:18| Industrial Newsroom - All News for Today

Used to convert high impedance signal from measurement microphone into low impedance signal, Model 426A13 is designed for ½ in. microphones used to measure frequencies within both infrasound and the human audible range (3 Hz to 20 kHz). Preamplifier electronics fit in 0.94 in. long housing, and overall length (including connectors) of 1.4 in. accommodates space-constrained test environments. Noise floor allows measurements from 15 dBA to 147 dB with appropriate microphone.

Underwater Acoustic Positioning System operates up to 1,000 m.

2015-01-21 14:30:57| Industrial Newsroom - All News for Today

Housed in palm-sized titanium enclosure, Subsonus USBL combines 8-channel calibrated hydrophone array with integrated inertial navigation system to provide position, velocity, and heading at depths of up to 1,000 m. Self-calibrating system requires no extra equipment or user intervention for setup, minimizing risk of operator errors. Operating on inverted or standard USBL scheme, Subsonus performs all processing and uses single Ethernet connection for data output.

Acoustic Micro Imaging System inspects IGBT modules.

2015-01-21 14:30:56| Industrial Newsroom - All News for Today

Featuring fully automated design, C-SAM® Model DF2400Z images and analyzes voids and other structural defects of power IGBT modules. Inverted transducer, placed beneath module, prevents water from reaching module circuitry. Once recipe for scanning has been defined, factory automation interface controls operation with no need for human attention. Because imaging is typically carried out before encapsulation, acoustic images reveal what type of rework is needed on rejects.
