Job Description At the location of our client, the largest space company in Europe and a key player in the European satellite and launcher industry, a vacancy for a Jr. Software Development Engineer Satellite Ground Systems has arisen. For this onsite position for our clients location in Southern Germany, we are looking for a Software Development Engineer with knowledge of Aerospace and Defence standards. Tasks and Responsibilities Implementation of Telecommands for image application Refining the subsystemspecification with DOORS Support the definition of architecture Assistance with the setup of software Engineering Tool Chain GIT, Stash, Jira, Jenkins, Gradle, Koch, Puppe Creation of the detail design documentation Creation of user documentation Support of integration tests as well as the virtualization SETUP Assistance in the automation of software development including testing and provisioning. Requirements Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or comparable field Profound knowledge with Software development with Java Experience with software development tools DOORS, GIT, Stash, Jira, Jenkins, Gradle, Junit Fluent in English and German. For Commencement in early 2019 of employment the Systems Engineering department at OHB System in Bremen is looking for several Telecommunications Systems Engineers, Galileo Satellites mf To ensure the successful production of current generation navigation spacecraft we are looking for several Telecommunications Systems Engineers. You use your RFTelecommunications training and work closely with spacecraft systems, structural, thermal, and Assembly Integration and Test AIT engineering to ensure satisfactory payload performance during production, ground testing, and inorbit. Your tasks include Analyze and assess the RF Power, Signal performance, clock frequency stability, and other payload performance parameters. Support test campaigns by analyzing measured payload performance and assessingtroubleshooting anomaliesnonconformances. Analyze any nonconformances for impact and gain approval from customer. Review and assess supplier documentation and participate in review meetings design, qualification, testreadiness, posttest, acceptance, etc. as customer. Assess onorbit performance and anomaly reports. Travel regularly to suppliercustomer sites supporting testing and technical meetings as above. Your qualifications Degree in ElectricalElectronic Engineering, Telecommunications, or comparable discipline. Recent graduate to intermediate professional experience, space industry preferred. Selfmanaged and proactive working style. Working level proficiency in written and spoken English. German or other EU language skills advantageous. Flight Software Systems Engineer

Specific Tasks Within the Flight Software Systems Section, support is provided to the JUICE Mission and in particular to the Radio Plasma and Wave Instrument RPWI which will characterize the radio emission and plasma environment of the Jupiter System. The contractor will be assigned to the Flight Software Systems Section to work for the Swedish Institute of Space Physics in Uppsala on site and will be in charge of the following initial tasks Development and validation of the software for the Radio Plasma and Wave Instrument RPWI of the ESA JUICE mission. Perform unit testing of the Instrument software. Generating and maintenance of the required software documentation. Requirements A PhD or Msc or equivalent qualification in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Electronic Engineering or a related discipline. Demonstrated experience with Software engineering. Programming language C and debugging skills gdb. Embedded Real Time Systems and Real Time Kernels RTEMS. Methods for validation and unit testing. The following experience is considered an asset Communication protocols SpaceWire, Simple Serial Interface SSI. Familiarity with test automation. Programming language TCL. Knowledge of PUS ECSSEST7041A Telemetry and telecommand packet utilization. Knowledge of SPARC LEON3 and multicore processor. Software Engineering tools GNULinux, Makefile, Python, gcc, git. Software Engineering Standards such as the ECSSEST40C. The contractor shall be part of the RPWI team. Because of the operational nature of the support, a proactive and flexible attitude will be required. Experience with embedded realtime software development will be an advantage.
