TRIB announced that its Managing Director, David Stevens, will be a featured speaker for the fourth year in a row at the Latin American & Caribbean Tyre Expo taking place in Panama City, Panama on July 16–18, 2015. Mr. Stevens will give a presentation that covers three topics: 1) A Look at U.S. and Global Retread Data; 2) Factors Influencing the Retread Industry and Technological Advancements in Retreading, and; 3) Ways in which TRIB Supports the Global Retread Industry.

Continuing its efforts to educate fleets about environmental and economic benefits of using retreaded tires, TRIB will be exhibiting at WasteExpo 2015 in Las Vegas, NV from June 2–4. TRIB will be showing videos highlighting environmental benefits of retreading and true causes of rubber on the roads. In addition, materials distribution will include copies of 16-page, color "Understanding Retreading" brochure as well as materials from TRIB members that cater to Waste Industry segment.

In continuing efforts to educate fleets about environmental and economic benefits of using retreaded tires, TRIB will be an exhibitor at WasteExpo 2015 at the Las Vegas Convention Center, June 1–4. TRIB be showing large-screen versions of "Environmental Benefits of Retreading" and "True Causes of Rubber on the Road" videos, distributing copies of 16-page color brochure "Understanding Retreading", and distributing materials from members that cater to Waste Industry segment.

TRIB has joined forces with Tire Industry Association to launch video that explains true causes of rubber on the road. State and Federal studies have shown that rubber on the roads is primarily created by tires that fail from being run underinflated or overloaded, have run over some type of road hazard, or have some other improper maintenance or operational issue. TRIB has joined forces with American Commercial Tire Network to launch a video that highlights the massive environmental benefits of tire retreading. According to TRIB Managing Director David Stevens, retreading conserves huge amounts of raw materials, reduces carbon dioxide output, keeps millions of tires out of landfill every year, and eventually helps with recycling of end-of-life tires to be used in other applications such as pavement and rubber mulch.
