Rohde & Schwarz and EMITE are proud to announce that the new R&S CMWflexx wideband radio communication tester setup has been successfully used in combination to the EMITE E500 reverberation chamber and a channel emulator to test up to 4CC LTE-A FDD CA with 2x2 MIMO on each carrier and more realistic isotropic urban-macro (UMA) fading profiles. The tests were performed for a leading US carrier.

There is a rising concern in the electronics industry regarding increased pollution in the form of electromagnetic interference (EMI), radio frequency interference (RFI), and spurious signals caused by electronic devices and radiating cables.Since some effects of this pollution can be extremely dangerous, many countries require commercial and military products to meet electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) standards before they are placed on the market. In order to test devices against EMC/EMI standards and ensure their compliance, anechoic and reverberation chambers are employed. This application note discusses using computational electromagnetic (CEM) simulation tools are ideal designing custom anechoic chambers.

Linear Absorbers reduce sound reverberation.
2015-07-27 14:31:06| Industrial Newsroom - All News for Today
Constructed of willtec® foam, SONEX® Linear Absorbers are straight-line baffles that provide optimal sound control and streamlined appearance. Class 1 fire-rated products come in lengths up to 96 in., depths from 6–24 in., and set thickness of 2.03 in. Baffles slip fit into 2 in. wide channel trim typically fastened in-place to wall or ceiling substrates. Offered in natural white or light grey willtec and HPC color coatings, absorbers are suited for new and renovated spaces.
