Maroc Telecom Group H1 revenue rises nearly 1%, maintains target for stable FY revenue

(Telecompaper) Maroc Telecom Group's revenues increased by 0.8 percent to MAD 17.94 billion in the first half of 2019 thanks to business growth in Morocco, which offset the decline in mobile call termination rates and incoming international revenue at subsidiaries. It ended the half year with nearly 63 million subscribers, up 3.9 percent on the same period the previous year.

(Telecompaper) Ericsson maintained its organic sales growth at 7 percent in the second quarter, driven by a solid performance at its Networks division with growth in North America and Asia. Reported sales grew 10 percent to SEK 54.8 billion, helped by currency effects, and the gross margin rose to 36.6 percent from 34.8 percent a year ago.

Telenor's results drift lower in Q1, maintains outlook for modest FY growth

(Telecompaper) Telenor reported a small increase in revenues in the first quarter, while underlying service revenue growth was flat and EBITDA lower due to continued weakness in Thailand and Myanmar. The company said it still expects a small increase over the full year, although has yet to include the Thai operation in that forecast.

KPN hits targets for 2018, maintains guidance for 2021 in line with strategic plan

(Telecompaper) KPN revenues in the fourth quarter fell 1.1 percent to EUR 1.436 billion on the back of declining revenue from traditional services and mobile, although there was growth in bundled consumer services and Professional Services for the business market. The adjusted EBITDA lifted 1 percent to EUR 572 million due to cost savings. The net profit result went 10 percent higher to EUR 62 million thanks to a one-off revaluation of the Dutch Tax Asset of EUR 107 million, due to a lower corporate income tax rate. Otherwise, KPN would have booked a net loss of EUR 45 million.
Telia maintains dividend after growth in underlying EBITDA, cash flow in 2018

(Telecompaper) Telia Company reported fourth-quarter sales up 4.9 percent to SEK 22.21 billion, helped by its takeover of Get and TDC's activities in Norway from October. Service revenues in local currencies, excluding acquisitions and disposals, declined 2.5 percent, as market conditions remained difficult in its biggest market Sweden, offsetting growth in other countries. Adjusted EBITDA rose 3.3 percent to SEK 6.74 billion but was down 5.5 percent in local currencies, after adjusting for acquisitions and disposals.
