Developed as part of Toxic Substances Control Act Work Plan, EPA's final assessment identifies health risks from TCE exposures to consumers using spray aerosol degreasers and spray fixatives. It also identifies health risks to workers when TCE is used as degreaser in small commercial shops and as stain removing agent in dry cleaning. EPA developed draft based on best available information and finalized assessment after consideration of comments from public and experts during peer review.
