Electromagnetic Design In The Electronics Industry

2015-11-02 10:54:39| rfglobalnet Downloads

Technology advancements in the electronic industry yield new trends in RF communications that drive new product functionality. The use of electromagnetic (EM) simulation design tools, like FEKO, are extremely important in new advancements in the next generation of mobile phones, cameras, laptops, and other Internet of Things (IoT) devices. Incorporating EM simulation throughout the design cycle helps to explore, optimize, and innovate these new design challenges. This white paper discusses Altair’s EM solver, FEKO, and how it strives to provide solutions for design innovation in future technologies.

High Current Electromagnetic Relays can switch up to 30 A.

2015-10-14 14:31:06| Industrial Newsroom - All News for Today

Available in 40 variations, RL Series includes single-pole versions that can switch up to 30 A and 2-pole versions that can switch up to 25 A. Both can handle 3 hp/277 Vac load. In addition to flange mount, relays offer DIN rail mounting option which clips directly onto DIN rail and does not require socket or adapter. With 3 mm double break contact gap, relays are suited for breaking high voltage loads and loads with inductive kickback such as motors, small compressors, and solenoids.

Electromagnetic And Thermal Analysis Of A Human-Body Model With Implant In MRI

2015-07-28 16:19:00| rfglobalnet Downloads

Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) technology is dependent on a good radio-frequency (RF) coil design for its image quality. FEKO simulation software can be used to efficiently design these coils with the simulation methods the tool offers. This application note describes how to use FEKO in RF coil design with an implant in ASTM models, and with an implant in a heterogeneous human-body model.
