Skyline Reports 4Q Sales Gains; Net Loss Pared

According to a company release, in the fourth quarter of fiscal 2015, Elkhart, Ind.-based Skyline Corp., a manufacturer of modular housing and park model RVs, reported: Net sales from continuing operations of $49.6 million, an increase of 8% over net sales of $46 million in the year ago quarter. Net loss from continuing operations of $149,000 which included a $243,000 gain on sale of idle property, plant and equipment.

Nissan's U.S. sales rose more than 13 per cent in June, while Fiat Chrysler posed an 8 per cent gain as the auto industry headed for another healthy sales month. The Edmunds.com auto website predicts that by the time all automakers report sales on Wednesday, the total will rise about 5 per cent to 1.48 million for the best June since 2006.

Gulf Stream Coach Inc. is reporting solid consumer demand for the company's 41-foot 406 FLR Lodge Series floorplan in its Conquest/Innsbruck brands. "We're extremely excited about the rapidly expanding sales of our Lodge Series floorplans, driven by the newest 'star of the show' that first appeared in Louisville last fall, the quad-slide 406FLR," said National Sales Manager Randy Baskerville in a press release.
