Anheuser-Busch lawyers have failed to KO a lawsuit brought by US consumers who claim the company misled them into buying Beck's by 'deceptive conduct' that suggested the beer was still brewed in Germany. In 2012 ABI moved production of Beck's sold on the US market from Bremen, Germany - where it has been brewed since 1873 - to St. Louis, Missouri.

A local court trying the case of multi-crore accounting fraud in erstwhile Satyam Computer Services Limited on Monday ordered all the accused to appear before it on October 27. The ten accused in the case include prime accused Satyam Computers founder and former chairman B Ramalinga Raju, his brother and Satyam's former MD B Rama Raju, ex-CFO Vadlamani Srinivas, former PwC auditors Subramani Gopalakrishnan and T Srinivas, Raju's another brother B Suryanarayana Raju, former employees G Ramakrishna, D Venkatpathi Raju and Ch Srisailam, and Satyam's former internal chief auditor V S Prabhakar Gupta.
NC Republican leaders back Tyson for appeals court

The state Republican Party is weighing in on a Court of Appeals race this November featuring 19 candidates by endorsing a former judge on the intermediate appeals court. The party announced this week the GOP state executive committee agreed to support John Tyson for the seat vacated when Judge John Martin retired.
