Arrow Electronics Inc. said Wednesday that its German unit is making an all-cash tender offer to acquire Munich, Germany-based LCD flat-panel display maker Data Modul AG. Arrow , the Centennial-based international electronics and computer company, said its Arrow CEHM subsidiary is offering $31 for Data Modul's shares, a 35 percent premium above the weighted average price of Data Modul's shares over the last three months.

South Korea's Samsung Electronics Co Ltd will be the main supplier of processors powering Apple Inc's next iPhone, Maeil Business Newspaper reported on Monday, citing unidentified sources in the semiconductor industry. Samsung will be responsible for around 75 percent of the chip production for the next iPhone, the South Korean newspaper said.
