Based around WiLink™ 8.0 ICs from Texas Instruments, LBEP Series provides LAN, Bluetooth®, and Bluetooth low energy connectivity. Modules include integrated crystal and require no additional components. Model LBEP5CLWMC provides both 2.4 GHz (IEEE802.11 g/b/n and Bluetooth 4.0) and 5 GHz (IEEE802.11a) connectivity, while Model LBEP5CLWTC provides 2.4 GHz IEEE802.11b/g/n connectivity. Murata has launched the LBEP series of wireless modules providing wireless LAN, Bluetooth and Bluetooth low energy (BLE) connectivity. These devices are based around the WiLink 8.0 solutions from Texas Instruments (TI), and the miniature modules measure just 8.8 x 9.9 x 1.3 mm and offer a low cost, integrated approach to providing wireless connectivity to a wide range of consumer, industrial and commercial applications.
