6 firms interested to build new Davao Sasa port

SIX local and foreign firms have expressed interest to construct a modern Davao Sasa Port, the Department of Transportation and Communications said Tuesday. The companies that purchased the bid documents include Anflocor, Netherlands-based global operator APMT, Asian Terminals Inc., French conglomerate Bollore, Singapore-based Portek and San Miguel Corporation.

Two of Jacksonville's largest companies, Crowley Maritime Corp.'s logistics branch and Landstar System , have been named Top 100 3PL providers by Inbound Logistics magazine. Both were selected from hundreds of candidates, and made the list among 3PL staples such as XPO, J.B. Hunt and Ryder.
