Rodent Motor Coordination Tester features touchscreen UI.
2015-05-19 14:31:06| Industrial Newsroom - All News for Today
Rota Rod lets users test effects of drugs, brain damage, or diseases on motor coordination or fatigue resistance in rodents. After animal is placed in rotating lane and timer is started, unit automatically records latency to fall (minutes and seconds) and rotational speed. Rotation can be electronically set at constant 4–40 rpm, or alternatively accelerating rate may be selected at defined time (30 sec to 10 min in 1 sec increments). Acquired data is saved in table form by lanes/trials.

Featuring modular design that allows for expandability as needs change, OxyletPro System optimizes and integrates ability to monitor respiratory metabolism, food and drink intake, and activity/rearing measurements in standard rodent home cages. Special configurations are available for calorimetry studies with neonate rat pups as well as exercise physiology studies with single lane, airtight treadmills. Rearing assessment can be made by adding accessory infrared frame. This story is related to the following:Laboratory Animal Products |
