Made of solid ceramic glass, 8 x 8 in. plates can be heated from ambient to 450°C in less than 3 min. Plate surface or solution temperature can be controlled directly to 1°C of target. Controlled by optical coupler to 10 rpm, stirring speed is 100–1,500 rpm.
