Providing wireless LAN, Bluetooth and Bluetooth low-energy (BLE) connectivity, Murata has unveiled announced the LBEP series of wireless modules. Based around the WiLink 8.0 solutions from Texas Instruments (TI), the miniature modules measure just 8.8mm x 9.9mm x 1.3mm and offer a complete low cost, highly-integrated approach to providing wireless connectivity to a wide range of consumer, industrial and commercial applications.

Based around WiLink™ 8.0 ICs from Texas Instruments, LBEP Series provides LAN, Bluetooth®, and Bluetooth low energy connectivity. Modules include integrated crystal and require no additional components. Model LBEP5CLWMC provides both 2.4 GHz (IEEE802.11 g/b/n and Bluetooth 4.0) and 5 GHz (IEEE802.11a) connectivity, while Model LBEP5CLWTC provides 2.4 GHz IEEE802.11b/g/n connectivity.
