The local host committee preparing for the Biotech Industry Organization's annual international convention coming to Philadelphia in June is hoping the Wolf administration is more supportive of the event than its predecessor. Christopher P. Molineaux, president of Pennsylvania Bio , said the state Department of Economic Development last year turned down the industry trade group's request for funding to help create an exhibit hall display showcasing the state's strengths in the life sciences industry at BIO 2015, the Biotechnology Industry Organization's annual conference.
